MEET EMILY
Founder and Lead Content Creator
Hi, I’m Emily — the heart behind Social Dream Haus.

I’ve loved storytelling for as long as I can remember, but my path to becoming a wedding and event content creator has been anything but traditional. After graduating from San Diego State, I built my first small business during the pandemic — designing stickers and t-shirts, building an online community from the ground up, and selling hundreds of products both online and in person. That experience sparked my passion for digital creativity, entrepreneurship, and connecting with people through content.

That spark eventually led me to Disneyland, where I created my Disney brand, @itsemilyeverafter, documenting my life as a Cast Member and solo Disney days. I fell in love with filming, storytelling, editing, and sharing real moments — and my platforms have since grown to more than 60k followers across social media.

From there, my world opened up: I moved across the country to Orlando for my first “big girl job” as a Social Media Content Coordinator for Disney Parks, creating TikToks at Walt Disney World every single day (truly a dream come true). I learned how to work cross-functionally with massive teams, follow production processes, navigate approvals, and create purposeful content at scale.

After Disney, I stepped into beauty and lifestyle social media management while continuing to grow my Disney account and collaborate with brands and theme parks like Knott’s Berry Farm, SeaWorld San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, and I even got to attend the Snow White movie premiere on the Walt Disney Studios lot.

And then came 2025 — the year that changed everything.
I became a bride myself and completely fell in love with weddings. I poured my heart into planning my own day, discovering how meaningful and emotional these moments truly are. Two weeks before walking down the aisle, I was unexpectedly laid off from my corporate job, and suddenly everything shifted.

After the wedding, I made a decision that changed my life: I chose to build something of my own. That’s when Social Dream Haus was born.

Today, I’m a full-time content creator capturing weddings across Southern California, including stunning venues like Monserate Winery, Rancho Las Lomas, Sunset Cliffs, and even The Disneyland Hotel. My background in social media, storytelling, and branding deeply influences my style — thoughtful, emotional, and editorial, with a focus on documenting memories that feel real and alive.

Being a 2025 bride myself, I truly understand how much intention, time, and heart goes into planning a wedding. That perspective shapes how I show up for my couples — with empathy, excitement, and the belief that every detail deserves to be remembered.
